Description | Myddelton College provides a unique blend of the best of the British education system in the heart of the Welsh countryside. We believe that being a great school requires a different view of what education is and we take the broadest view of education with a wide range of activities that encompass the whole individual. Our academic expectations are high, but we also expect our students to develop an interest in sporting, creative, aesthetic and cultural areas. Our pastoral care goes beyond basic welfare and we focus on developing the individual child both emotionally and intellectually. |

As a Microsoft Showcase School, every student and teacher is trained in the use of modern technology in the classroom, each child receives a surface, and they are integrated fully into the lessons. Our heads of house and head of student services make sure the students are integrated well and have a point of contact in case of any problem. All students meet regularly with our highly approachable team. Each boarder is registered with the local doctor and is accompanied on doctor visits by a house parent. Our unique Learning through the Outdoors programme has been designed to develop leadership, teamwork and resilience in our students. |
