| Application process | The enrolment process is completed on line. Students entering Years 9 and 10 must submit their academic transcripts/school reports but are not required to take entrance tests. Year 11,Year 12 and Year 13 students whose first language is not English will be interviewed on line and may be required to provide IELTS results. |

| Curriculum | Hamilton Boys’ High School recognises and responds to the educational needs of all students, including those with exceptional, different and special needs. NCEA, Cambridge International Examinations, IELTS preparation and English support programmes. Year 9 students study 5 core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Physical Education) as well as 8 options subjects. Year 10 students also study the 5 core subjects and 2 full year option subjects. Year 11 – 13 students have over one hundred subject choices. |
