Description | Pompallier College is a co-educational, integrated public school that was historically established by the Catholic Church. The school is named after Bishop Jean Baptiste Francois Pompallier who visited the North Island of NZ in the 19th century. Our special character is shown in the promotion of social justice and ethical life throughout the academic curriculum and co-curricular events. Students are often involved in charitable work, volunteering their service to the local community, as well as in environmental projects. The surroundings are ideal for students who enjoy adventure and are keen to try new sports or recreational activities. Our outdoor education program can accommodate students who are interested in golf, hockey, surfing, diving, kayaking and many others activities.
