Our school is situated in Timaru, the thriving main centre of South Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand. Timaru is a small city that has a beautiful coastline. We are close to other centres as well as the lakes and mountain districts of this magnificent country.

Mountainview High is an exciting and successful Year 9 - 13 co-educational secondary school that has been on its current site since 1984. Our site is beautiful, with views over the hills and distant mountains and the school layout provides a stunning working and learning environment for all our students and staff. It is the envy of many schools in New Zealand.
