Director of International Students

Description

We are a small family and community minded Year 9 -13 co-educational high school with a current roll of 710.

We are a co-educational semi-rural school a 40-minute drive from one of the world’s most liveable cities - Auckland City.  We are a small family and community minded Year 9 -13 co-educational high school with a current roll of 740. Our school population is mainly New Zealand European and Maori so it is easy for the International students to immerse into our school community and communicate regularly with English speaking students.  The school offers new modern classrooms and facilities with an average class size of 24 students. We have a highly experienced team of teachers who are student focused. The school encourages students to use computers in the classroom and there is Wi- fi available throughout the school.

Students are encouraged to aim for personal excellence and have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of academic, cultural and sporting activities. Students can be involved in our excellent music programme where they are able to write and perform rock, punk or folk music and also take part in our wonderful Drama classes.

Our school would suit students who want to experience the true New Zealand and learn English in a safe, supportive, caring, traditional kiwi township.  Our low International student numbers allow us to provide excellent pastoral care.  We have a variety of clubs and cultural activities to participate in too.
