Founded in 1895, Immanuel College is a coeducational Boarding school with a long established national reputation for quality in academic programs, achievement in the performing arts and excellence in sport. Immanuel provides secondary education for Years 7 to 12 on a spacious 18 hectare campus close to Adelaide's CBD, beaches and international airport.

The College caters for 950 students and offers both Boarding accommodation on campus and an extensive Immanuel community Homestay program. The College includes 50 international students from 10 different countries, and provides extensive specialist student support services including highly experienced counsellors for academic, career and personal advice, bilingual support, on-campus Intensive English (ELICOS) and ESL programs to ensure successful transition of international students to the Australian curriculum and tertiary studies.

Extensive modern facilities include specialist centres for science, technology, drama, music, art and sport. The College maintains high standards of academic achievement and Immanuel international graduates are consistently successful in gaining entry to tertiary courses of their choice in Adelaide, Australia and overseas.

Clubs program. Music - over to 20 ensembles, bands, orchestras, choirs. Extensive team and non-competitive choices including Dance, Sailing, Golf.

Over 150 summer and winter sports teams available. National level Athletics and Swimming coaching.

Facilities

State-of-the-art Senior school completed 2015. Specialist facilities for Sport including indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, several gyms, dance studio; Music, Drama and Visual Arts Centres, Technology and Advanced Manufacturing Centre; Food and Hospitality.

Application process

Contact College directly or via agent with completed application form, copy of passport, reports for at least the past two years, evidence of English language proficiency and any relevant certificates/ references. Academic results of C or above. Interviews offshore if staff are available. English tests may be recommended (eg. Pearson, TOEFL Jnr, STEP, AEAS, Cambridge etc).

Glenelg Beach is 10 minutes from the College, Adelaide CBD is 20 minutes away, the Adelaide Hills and Mt Lofty Ranges are 20 minutes from Immanuel.
